recipe for 4
- 300 g white beans
- 1 tp natron
- 2 bay leaves
- 3-5 twigs thyme
- 4 duck wings per 350 g
- salt & pepper
- 1 tbs olive oil
- 1 red onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 3 cans with divided tomatoes
- 1/2 bunch parsley
- 150 g bacon
- 200 g sausage meat
- 50 g breadcrumbs
- 1/4 l dry white wine
- 1/4 l vegetables broth
how to do
- to let the beans soak overnight
- pour the water away & wash the beans
- fill the beans into a pot with water and add the bay leaves & the thyme by medium temperature & cover halfway with its lid
- boil them for about 1 1/2 h, then pour the water away
- meanwhile cut the onion & garlic
- line the crock pot with the bacon
- take a skillet & heat the oil & add the wings
- roast them from all asides
- then put them aside
- preheat the oven by 140 degree C
- add the chopped onions & garlic into the hot oil (if there is too much oil in it, remove some with some paper towel)
- if they are golden, add the tomatoes, cook for about 10 min
- add the beans
- fill in a layer of the tomatoes & bean mixture into the crock pot
- put the roasted duck wings onto it
- then fill it up with the rest of the mixture
- put the sausage meat onto it
- add the wine & the broth
- spread the bread crumbles onto it
- put the crock pot into the oven for about 3 hours & cover with some tinfoil & put it for another hour into the oven
